My Review:

As a mother of a preteen daughter, I am acutely aware of how quickly she is growing up, and of all the things she is going to need to know. I am on a mission to gain as much knowledge as I can to better equip my daughter for life and all that it holds. This is one book of many that I have chosen to gather this knowledge.

First thing I noticed and really loved about this book is that author Annie Chapman has a very large amount of scriptures to back up what she is talking about. So many times my kids will ask why they must do it this way in which I reply, "Because the Bible tells us so." I love that I now have most of these scriptures at hand to better answer their questions.

The ten topics in the book cover everything from making the best choices to keeping a pure heart and body. From marriage and motherhood to money and fear. In each chapter author Annie Chapman offers guidelines to follow during life and has backed them with multiple scriptures. She shares her life stories along with lyrics from old hymns and songs that she and her husband wrote that tie in perfectly with the theme of the chapter. At the end there is a page with a book list she wants her daughter to read. And yes, I will be going over that list as well with my daughter.

I found all the information in 10 Ways to Prepare Your Daughter for Life very practical, all the while very helpful. I had this thought often while reading, "Of course. That make perfect sense." I am so glad I chose this book as it is going to be a great resource for my daughter and I.

If you are like me and in the market for books to help you help your daughter, I would like to recommend this book to you. I know it will bless you!
