My Review:

Do you find yourself desiring to be more established in prayer? I sure did. Even though I knew my prayers didn't need to be long and perfect, and that God knew my heart on every matter, I still wanted to have more knowledge on the subject. I wanted to make sure my prayers were in fact reaching God and were as effective as possible. Who better to learn from then Stormie Omartian?!

She starts out the book by stating that there is in fact a war going on in the spiritual realm and we are smack in the middle of it. Always. However, it's our choice to step up and battle or let the enemy have his way. She makes it clear who our enemy is and who our commander is. She teaches us where the power and authority in our prayers come from. 

Once we know in our hearts just Who is in charge and have made the choice to be a warrior, Stormie helps us to condition ourselves to be the prayer warrior God called us to be. After we "clean house" we are ready to put on the Full Armor of God, learn what our spiritual weapons, are and how to use them effectively.

Knowing where most battles start and how the enemy infiltrates these areas is a key factor in winning this war. It is equally important to obey your Commander. When He tells us to do something it is imperative that we do it right when He says to. Timing is everything. 

While the entire book was beyond helpful to me I really loved the last chapter where she tells us the importance of seeing from God's perspective. I honestly have never really gave this much thought. I was convicted and repented for never asking Him to show me what He sees. I am certain that I will now have greater insight in my prayer times because Stormie took the time to share this with us.

Since my desire to become an effective prayer warrior was quite strong I purchased the Prayer & Study Guide along with the Book of Prayers. I really wanted to get the most out of the Prayer Warrior book as I could so I can see victories through prayer. I grabbed these two in e-book format.

Let me just say that you will, with out a doubt, learn everything you need to know by reading Prayer Warrior all by it's self. However, I cannot begin to tell you how much deeper my understanding and knowledge has grown by going through the Study Guide. I took my time reading the book and doing the study guide, really letting it penetrate my mind, heart, soul, and spirit. And I'm so very glad I did. I am certain that I will come out of each battle victorious!

I want to encourage you to grab this set. Whether you are wanting to learn how to become a prayer warrior or would like a refresher, you will find what you need in these books.
